Dr. Harry Treon has been a private practice owner since graduating from Boston University's Henry M. Goldman School of Medicine in 1993. At the time of graduation, Dr. Treon had 3 young children, with a 4th on the way, and was thus eager to start practicing. The rest is history. Dr. Treon has now been the proud owner of Dental Collaborative for nearly 30 years. Dr. Treon has recently furthered his ownership by opening a new state-of-the-art practice in the South End (Smile Craft). With the help of his 3rd son Dr. Christopher Treon, the father-son duo, has the time to manage the two locations.
Dr. Treon offers an extraordinary range of service to all his patients, signifying that the patients wellness is his top priority. He is incredibly talented and takes pride in assisting those in need of his help. With three decades of experience, Dr. Treon has made himself proficient in all aspects of dentistry. He offers all treatments being simple restorations (fillings), crown and bridge work, veneers, root canals, removable prosthetics (night guards, dentures, sleeping-aid devices), implants, and extractions. The exceptional care received from Dr. Treon is like none other, he is very honest, gifted, and overall a kindhearted person treating all patients with respect and compassion.
Being the father of 5 boys, he spent most of his spare time around his children's sports. He loved it so much that Dr. Treon coached several of their hockey and baseball teams. He enjoys watching his boys grow and begin families of their own. He looks forward to his grandchildren joining sports so that he can once again reprise his role as coach. Now, Dr. Treon enjoys cooking (he claims it is his second profession), spending time with his family, and rooting for his Boston Bruins every time they are playing. Dr. Treon also has a 6 year old Bichon-Poo named Maximo!
Just like his father, Dr. Chris earned his degree from Boston University Henry M. Goldman School of Dental Medicine. Dr. Chris graduated with honors, and has been practicing locally ever since. Working along side his father has been more than he could ever ask for. Not only is he working with his lifelong role model but he also notes having an incredibly experienced and capable mentor in the dental field as well.
Dr. Chris uses all the latest technology to not only help in his patient care, but also to educate his patients. Each patient is treated with the utmost respect and compassion and would certainly say as much after leaving the office. Dr. Chris knows that there is no "one-size fits all" approach with dentistry and uses this understanding to tailor each procedure to the wants and needs of the patient. The goal in each case is to achieve the most functional and esthetically pleasing dental work to all patients. He uses all of his talents to provide a variety of dental treatment to all patients, including the following: General restorations (fillings), crown and bridge work, veneers, root canals, Invisalign, removable prosthetics (night guards, dentures, sleeping-aid devices), implants, and extractions. Dr. Chris takes pride in his craft and is furthering his career every day he sets foot in the office.
During his time in college, Dr. Chris co-founded the "Dental Brigade" group whose mission was to help service communities in Panama that had little to no access to dental treatment. In this pursuit, he helped recruit over 15 college students, 2 licensed and practicing general dentists, and 1 registered dental hygienist. In just 4 days, the group was responsible for providing dental care and education to over 800 patients of the local rural communities. Dr. Chris greatly enjoyed his service trip and looks forward to volunteering on several trips in the future.
Although Dr. Chris is constantly reading and educating himself about new innovative technologies and techniques in dentistry, he does enjoy his spare time. He has been blessed with a beautiful wife (Casey) and twins (Chase and Rhea), as well his loyal companion Duke! The family all together enjoy holiday vacations skiing or spending time by the beach, as well as cheering on the local sports teams.
